Day one of General Conference included presentations from the General Commission on the Status and Role of Women (GCSRW) and the General Commission on Religion and Race (GCORR). Erin Hawkins, General Secretary of the GCORR, explains the monitoring the two Commissions will do to ensure that all voices are heard during GC. Both Commissions are challenging and leading the church to live as a fully inclusive Christian community.
